I painted this picture of Winnie the Pooh climbing a tree for my cousins newborn son, Ryan. I hope Ryan hangs it in his son's room and so on. I aspired to build a memory as well as a painting. The John Lennon quote "I Believe in Me" under the tree branch is something that has always spoken to me. Think about it. You can't depend on God, or loved ones all the time, life always has its fair share of disappointments, but you can believe in yourself. You do have control of your own destiny.
This makes me so happy! I love the idea of inspiring a memory, it takes the generosity of painting this to a whole new level. That quote might follow him for the rest of his life. you go girl!
